There are four Regions called Farthenwood, Ravenscourt, Fablehaven, and Mendenwall:
Farthenwood is the territory in the North, with Alpines, Volcanoes, Forest, and Coast.
Fablehaven is the territory in the Southwest, the smallest territory, with lots of Coast and Jungle, and a few Volcanoes.
Mendenwall is the territory in the Southeast, with Forest, Jungle, a few Volcanoes, and a large patch of Desert.
Ravenscourt is the territory between Fablehaven and Farthenwood. It has Volcanoes that connect it to Farthenwood, with Forest, Coast, Alpines, and Desert.
All of these make up the World of Stars, a place where Dragons and Humans mingle and live.
Now, inside these regions are Kingdoms. One Kingdom for each Region. In each Kingdom, there is a King or a Queen, or even both. The King and the Queen do not have to be mates, nor do they have to become mates to be the Rulers.
The deputy-like position is called Chamberlain. The Chamberlain keeps up with news around the region and puts together patrols and hunts. He or she can be any breed.
Of course, every Region has to have a Healing Dragon. This spot is saved preferably to a Dragon specializing in Healing Magic, but any Dragon can take this place.
There are three types of warriors: Guards, Soldiers, and Nobles. The Guards are protectors of the Regions and keep watch over the Caves that they live in. Guards don't have to be a particular gender or breed. Soldiers are the fighters. They are trained to fight both defensively and offensively. Soldiers work side by side with the Guards, who are also trained in defensive battle. The last are the Nobles. They do the hunts and border patrols that the Chamberlain gives out. The Dragons that can fly move in the air, while Water breeds surf the coast if there is one. Nobles border, however they can, and there should be more of a number than the other two.
The Loner-type Dragons call themselves Serfs, but the members of the Kingdoms call them Peasants. They go Region to Region, but try not to mingle with the Kingdoms.
Merchants hang around caves that Humans take baby dragons from. They pick up coins and other treasures that humans lose or leave behind, and they trade these with other Dragons/Merchants for new treasures they may not have.
When eggs hatch, they stay with their parents for about two full-moons, not depending on when they actually were hatched. After their two moons are up, they have their Choosing Ceremony, where the Hatchling chooses which of the three warriors (Guards, Soldiers, or Nobles) they would like to train to be. The new apprentices are then called Tenderfoots. Once they choose, Tenderfoots can switch positions, but it is a longer process than picking at the Choosing Ceremony.
A female Dragon expecting eggs is called a Pennyroyal. This is a joke among the Dragons as pennyroyal is a common herb known to rid any who use it of pregnancy.
Elders are still called Elders.
